As you might guess, Star Wars: The Battle of Endor is a spaceship arcade game that relives the battle that took place in the sky of Endor in The Return of the Jedi. Your mission is to pilot an X-Wing, challenging legendary enemies such as hundreds of TIE Fighters or Imperial Cruisers.
The game itself is pretty simple. With the mouse, you can control the direction of the ship and fire, while controlling the speed and firing type with the keyboard. The enemies can be seen via the on-screen radar.
Graphically, the game is quite nice. The 3D designs are a bit crude, but faithful to the originals, and the background is set with the imposing presence of Darth Vader's Death Star. The music and the sound effects follow, and are fundamental to the recreation of the unforgettable world of the George Lucas saga. And, since I'm telling you that Star Wars: The Battle of Endor is completely free, the question is, Why haven't you downloaded it yet?
